Description: Social Security has a toll-free number that operates 7AM to 7PM, Monday to Friday. If you have a touch-tone phone, recorded
information and services are available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.  Please have your social security number handy when
you call us. We also have a wealth of services you can access online through our website. Many of these services are available 24 hours a day.
You can use either of the above methods of locating your local office if you wish to see us in person. Social Security provides cash and
medical assistance through its Retirement, Disability and Survivors, Medicare and Supplemental Security Income Program
